1. REGISTRATION AND MEMBERSHIP

• The maximum number of students per class is limited to 12 students.

• Registration is confirmed only upon full payment of the course fees.

• Course fees are strictly non-transferable.

• Advance payment is required for both private tuition and group classes.

• Each student’s registration will be confirmed only upon receipt of payment.

• Discounts apply only to full advance payments, and no refunds will be granted.

• The Student Membership entitles students to all services offered by Baguette Language Center, as well as negotiated benefits with Baguette’s partners.

• Student Membership is mandatory for enrolment in any course. A fee of S$10 (GST included) is payable upon enrolment and is valid for 12 months, starting from the date of registration.

• Membership fees do not apply to 2026 registrations.

2. ONLINE CLASSES

• Baguette Language Center offers classes on-site at the center or online.

• For on-site classes, Baguette Language Center reserves the right to shift classes online with one (1) day’s notice, if required by Government regulations. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

3. DISCOUNTED COURSE FEES

• Loyalty Discount: Continuing students are entitled to a discount of 5% when registering before the fifth class of their current term.

• Discounts apply only to consecutive full-session terms.

• Registration for multiple terms at once (up to 75 hours per invoice) entitles students to the following discounts:

  • 5% on Term 1 (Loyalty Discount)

  • 10% on Term 2

  • 15% on Term 3

• Students may register for either the first half or the second half of a term at 50% of the full course price.

• Discounted course fees cannot be refunded or deferred.

• Discounts may be accumulated up to a maximum of 15%.

4. ADMISSION TO CLASSES

• Only fully registered students are allowed to attend classes. Registration is complete only after full payment has been made.

• Students may be required to present their membership card and registration receipt upon request.

5. WITHDRAWAL / DEFERMENT / REFUND

• No refund or deferment will be granted once the term has started.

• No refund or credit note will be issued due to student absence, regardless of the reason.

• However, management reserves the right to make exceptions in exceptional circumstances at its sole discretion.

• Withdrawal before the start of the term is subject to a cancellation fee of 15% of the original course price.

• No refunds will be granted for workshops.

• Deferment of classes is subject to an administration fee of S$20 (GST included).

• If the same level is not offered in the next term, alternative courses will be proposed. Deferment is undertaken at the student’s own risk, as alternative courses may be scheduled on different days or times.

• No refunds will be issued after a deferment; however, a credit note valid for six (6) months will be provided.

• Deferment requests must be made in person, with the original receipt presented. Appeals must be submitted in writing to bonjour@baguette.sg.

6. CHANGE OF CLASS / MISSED CLASS / MAKE-UP CLASS

• Classes are not held on public holidays (PH).

  • For PHs falling on weekdays, make-up classes will be scheduled before or after the holiday.

  • For PHs falling on Saturdays or Sundays, a make-up class will be scheduled at the end of the term.

• Class transfers can only be arranged by contacting Baguette via WhatsApp.

• Students may attend a similar class on another day or time, subject to availability, to make up for a missed class.

• Teachers may provide brief catch-up support after class, subject to availability.

• Optional paid make-up classes are available:

  • S$80/hour (1 student)

  • S$100/hour (2–3 students from the same class)

  • For a missed 3-hour class, students may expect approximately 1 hour of make-up instruction.

• A remote attendance option is available for adult students who are unable to attend in person during the term.

  • Requests must be made in advance and are subject to the teacher’s approval.

  • Last-minute requests may be declined to avoid disruption.

  • The student’s camera must be switched on during the session.

  • No recording of remote classes is permitted.

7. SPLITTING, COMBINING, RESIZING, AND CANCELLATION OF CLASSES

• When enrolment numbers are low, students may be offered the option to join an equivalent group.

• Cancellation is considered only as a last resort. In such cases, deferment will not incur administration fees.

• In the event of class cancellation, students may choose between a full refund or a deferment to the next term.

• Students choosing deferment should note that the same level may not be offered or may be scheduled at a different day or time.

10. BAGUETTE LANGUAGE CENTER MANAGEMENT

• Baguette Language Center reserves the right to assign any teacher to any class.

• Baguette Language Center reserves the right to divide, combine, cancel, or reduce class hours as deemed necessary.

• Baguette Language Center reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

11. CONSENT FOR USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND AUDIO-VISUAL MATERIAL

• During activities such as classes, workshops, talks, and exhibition tours, photographs and audio-visual materials may be taken.

• These materials may be used for promotional purposes across brochures, websites, and social media platforms.

• Individuals who do not wish their image to be used should contact us at Bonjour@baguette.sg.

12. BAGUETTE LANGUAGE CENTER RESPONSIBILITY

• Baguette Language Center is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings on its premises due to theft, fire, injury, or any other cause.

• Baguette Language Center shall not be held responsible for examination or test results that do not meet a student’s expectations.
